History
In October 1911, Rev. Herman Snyder was visiting friends in the area and decided to hold religious services in the public school house. After laboring a year, twenty-one members were received into the church at Roaring Springs. It was decided to build a church and organize a congregation.
On October 28, 1912, ground was broken and a cornerstone was laid on November 10th. A congregation was organized June 22, 1913, with fifty members. In 1920, a parsonage was built 1.5 miles south of the church on Tulls Hill Road.
